Artwork story

In a misty grey forest, a red flower keeps blooming while a flame burns through it.

This painting is about courage, self-belief, endurance and self-sufficiency. Life brings moments when everything around us seems to be burning, collapsing, raging — and we feel bad on the outside and on the inside. In those moments we have to try to keep ourselves: our beauty and our calm, holding out against the chaos — and keep blooming.

By blooming, by being who we truly are, we can take others with us and let them bloom and smile too. At some point the fire will die down. And if even one flowering bush remains, the world will be more beautiful.
