The cause

A Latvian initiative that brings comfort, care, and human warmth to children spending long days in hospital.

How bidding works

Verified email bidding

Each painting starts at €50. The minimum bid step is €5. To place a bid, you sign in with your email and receive a one-time verification code. No password is needed.

Payment and delivery

After the auction closes

Each winning bidder will receive a secure payment link by email. Guests who attend the closing event may receive their painting directly from the artist. All other winning works will be carefully packed and delivered after payment is completed.

Charity payout

90%

After taxes, ninety percent of the auction proceeds will be donated to the initiative Lielas rūpes par mazajiem. The remaining ten percent will stay with the artist to help cover painting materials and the creation of future work.

A Latvian initiative that helps children who are in hospital without a parent or close caregiver beside them.

Lielas rūpes par mazajiem provides loving and competent caregivers for children who are being treated alone at the Children’s Clinical University Hospital in Riga.

The initiative was created on 5 February 2018 by Latvijas Kristīgā alianse bāreņiem. Its work supports children from social care institutions, foster and guardian families, adoptive families, and larger families when a child needs someone to stay close during hospital treatment.
