Artwork story

A lone figure in a canoe on a misty grey lake, between dark pines. He has crossed the lake and is slowly disappearing into the fog, into the forest — into the unknown.

Perhaps there is a shore there, or a river that will take him further. It takes courage to go into what is unknown and unseen. But there is surely something interesting and beautiful there — and sitting in our own boat, in what we already know, we will never find out.

Gallery only

I knew the lake. Not the forest yet.

Courage. Daring. Persistence.

Foggy, quiet, cool, full of adventure, with light tension, on the boundary between fear and a state of peace.
