Artwork story

A flower erupts into fiery red, orange and gold.

We are all like flowers: we bloom and bring joy to others. But inside, things build up — pain, anger, old hurts, words left unsaid, perhaps even smiles held back. At some point all of it can explode and become a volcano. A volcano may look destructive, but it also lights things up; in its heat and destruction there is beauty, too.

Let's try not to become a catastrophe. Let's find calm within, say what needs to be said quietly and gently — and keep blooming.

The flower that became a catastrophe.

When blooming gets a little out of hand.

It began as a flower. Then came colour, movement, and energy—more and more, until nothing wanted to stay within its boundaries. Sometimes beauty is neither quiet nor orderly. Sometimes it takes over the entire space.
