Artwork story

A woman in the shower, seen as if through a thermal camera: her naked body radiates warmth.

This painting is about courage and about opening up. But it is not only about one's own body and nakedness. It is about anything else we may carry around in our pocket or hide in a box in the closet — things we could bring and give to others, but hide from instead.

Often we need to dare to show others who we are and what we can do, and allow ourselves to be seen — because it may inspire someone else to open up more, or do more, and bring more beauty into the world.
