Artwork connection

The artwork, carried into your space

A magnificent butterfly rests on bright orchid blossoms. Against the pale flowers, the large dark-blue butterfly looks like a starry night that has settled in the garden.

Two seemingly different things — one still and light, the other restless and deep blue — help each other and work together. The butterfly visits the flower to feed, and in this exchange something bigger, more wonderful and more beautiful is born.

Originally painted in December 2019.
